| Description | At the time of Griffith's Valuation Meredith Thompson, senior, was occupying a house valued at over £5 at Anresna, barony of Tirerrill. This appears to be the house marked on the OS map as Castlefield House, on the shores of Lough Arrow. McTernan notes that it later came into the possession of the Acheson family who sold it in 1935. It is still extant but in 2009 was unoccupied. |
