Description | Rossmore East was part of the estate of James Murphy at the time of Griffith's Valuation. The National Inventory of Architectural Heritage suggests that the current house was built circa 1860s. The Ordnance Survey Name Books record a house and large gardens in the 1830s, which may be the herd's house, valued at £1 10s, leased by Thomas and Edward Narry in 1856. |
