| Hynes | Denis Hynes was the lessor of several business premises in the town of Kinvara at the time of Griffith's Valuation . O'Connell states that Denis Hynes eventually purchased Seamount House from the Butlers in the late 1840s and that it was his daughter who gave it to the Mercy Nuns in 1921. According to genealogical information he was Dr. Denis Joseph Hynes and members of his wife's family are buried in the cemetery adjoining the abbey at Corcomroe, county Clare. |
