| Cunningham (Port) | McParlan includes Bryan Conyngham, Porte, on a list of "resident gentleman of property" in 1802. Mary Cunningham was the daughter and heiress of Bryan Cunningham. In 1814 she married John Hamilton Peyton and the Port property became part of the Peyton estate. In the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries members of the family had served as High Sheriff of Leitrim. The Cunningham family were also related by marriage to the Jones family. |
