McDonnell (Achill) | Mrs Agnes McDonnell bought the estate of the Earl of Cavan on Achill Island, county Mayo in 1888. The estate was over 2,000 acres and she is recorded as living in a mansion at the Valley, Tonatanvally. She had one son Leslie Elliot by her first marriage. Her second husband was John Randall MacDonnell.
