Bole (Longford)

Estate(s)

Name Description
Bole (Longford) Ambrose Bole was recorded as the owner of almost 500 acres in County Longford in the 1870s. Local sources suggest he was agent for several of the larger Longford estates in the mid-19th century including that of the King-Harman family. He was still resident at Park Place in 1901 when he described himself in the census return as "Land agent and Justice of the Peace, counties Longford and Westmeath". In 1867 John Bole offered 300 acres in the barony of Moydow for sale in the Landed Estates Court.
