Musters | In the 1870s Henry Musters was recorded as the owner of over 1800 acres in County Longford. At the time of Griffiths Valuation in the early 1850s he was among the principal lessors in the parishes of Clongesh and Mohill, barony of Longford. In 1839 Captain Henry Musters, of Nottinghamshire, had married Margaret Auchmuty of the Brianstown Auchmuty family. Their son, John George Musters, afterwards inherited the property and it was sold after his death in 1917. |
