Estate(s)

Name Description
O'Neill (Parkhill) John O'Neill is recorded under Nobility and Gentry of the Ballyshannon area by Andrew Pigot in his 1824 Directory of Ireland. In 1837 Lewis refers to Park Hill as the seat of the representatives of J O'Neill. A formal demesne is depicted on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map but no house is labelled at the site. At the time of Griffiths Valuation this townland is in the possession of Dorothea O'Neill from whom James Armstrong was leasing a house valued at £5.
