Name Description
Moore (Moynehall) Samuel Moore of Moynehall, county Cavan, married Frances Nesbitt of the Lismore family. Their son Colonel Samuel Moore lived at Rockville and married his first cousin Louisa daughter of Thomas Nesbitt in 1849. They had an only daughter Frances who in 1883 married Captain Ernest Edward Cator Nevile of Yorkshire. In 1794, the Moores leased Moynehall to Samuel Adams, see sale rental of 1857. At the time of Griffth’s Valuation the Moore estate was located in the parishes of Annagelliff, Denn, Castleterra and Kilmore. In 1876, Samuel Moore owned 2,402 acres in county Cavan. He died in 1885.
