| Lannigan | At the time of Griffith's Valuation Henry Hayden Lannigan held land in the parish of Newtownlennon, baronies of Iffa and Offa East and Slievardagh, county Tipperary. In November 1860 his estate of approximately 740 acres was advertised for sale. The Irish Times reports that they were sold, in trust, to a Mr. Wright. Henry Hayden Lannigan (1863-1930) was a basketball coach at the University of Virginia. |
