Griffith's Valuation records Peter Barlow holding an estate in the parishes of Moyaliff, Templebeg, Upperchurch, barony of Kilnamanagh Upper and Templederry, barony of Upper Ormond, county Tipperary in the mid 19th century. Peter Barlow of Dublin owned over a thousand acres in county Tipperary in the 1870s and Arthur Barlow of George's Street, Dublin, owned 651 acres in county Tipperary and 500 acres in county Meath. The King's Inns' Admissions refer to Peter Barlow, born 1797, fifth son of James Barlow and Eliza Ruxton. Two Arthur Barlows are mentioned.
