Name Description
Lanphier In the mid 19th century Vernon Lamphier held land in the parish of Ballymurreen, barony of Eliogarty, county Tipperary, from Viscount Hawarden. In April 1852 the 385 acre estate of John Pennefather Lanphier was advertised for sale in the Encumbered Estates' Court. The property was held under a grant in perpetuity made by Wray Palliser to John P. Lanphier and Vernon Lanphier, dated 17 February 1852. In the 1870s John H. Lamphier of The Common, New Birmingham, owned 629 acres in county Tipperary.
