| Pedder | In the 1870s Henry Pedder of Kilgainy, Clonmel was the owner of over 500 acres in county Waterford. He was among the principal lessors in the parish of St. Mary's, barony of Upperthird, at the time of Griffith's Valuation. Local history sources suggest Henry Pedder was a lawyer and son of a family who held industrial interests in Clonmel.
