In 1813 Richard Boyse Osborne married Lucinda Humfrey and they had a son Richard Boyse Osborne (1815-1899) who had a distinguished career as an engineer in North America, Britain and Ireland. In May 1851 the estate of Richard Boyse Osborne, amounting to over 900 acres in county Tipperary (part of Clonoura, barony of Slievardagh and Inchinscullip, barony of Kilmanagh) and over 650 acres in county Kilkenny was advertised for sale. In July 1885 the lands of Inchinscullip were again advertised for sale, the estate of Matthew Flood. Tobias Osborne was an immediate lessor in the townland of Clonoura at the time of Griffith's Valuation.
