| McKenna | Sir Joseph Neale McKenna was an Irish banker and politican. He was born in Dublin in 1819, the son of Michael McKenna. He was Member of Parliament for Youghal, county Cork, from 1865-1868 and was knighted in 1867. He lived at Ardogena or Ardo House, Youghal, and in 1876 owned 1,581 acres in county Cork and over 400 acres in Waterford. He married twice. One of his daughters, Helen, married, in 1877, Daniel O'Connell of Ballynabloun, county Kerry. |
