Records relating to John and Thomas Boyce and lands in county Cork are in the Lismore Estate Collection in the National Library. The Boyces rented land from the Dukes of Devonshire. At the time of Griffith's Valuation the representatives of Thomas Boyce held land in the parish of Corcomohide, barony of Orrery and Kilmore, Thomas Boyce held land in the parishes of Gortroe and Templebodan, barony of Barrymore and John Boyce held land in the parish of Rathcormack, barony of Barrymore, county Cork. In 1850, Osborne Boyce was among the principal lessors in the parish of Kilmeadan, barony of Middlethird, county Waterford.
In the 1870s Captain Thomas Boyce of Charles Street, St James, London, owned 2,669 acres in county Cork as well as over 300 acres in county Waterford. John Boyce of Rome owned 939 acres in county Cork.
