His heiress and only daughter, Elizabeth Anne, married Fancis, 12th Earl of Huntingdon, in 1838. Referring to the eighteenth century, Sadleir notes "Richard Power of Clashmore", who was married to a daughter of Shapland Carew of Castleboro and who served as High Sheriff of Waterford in 1764. |
