Name Description
O'Sullivan (East Carbery & Bear) Daniel O'Sullivan, resident in Cork city, was the owner of over 4000 acres in the county in the 1870s. He was among the principal lessors in the parish of Inchigeelagh, barony of East Carbery, at the time of Griffith's Valuation. Daniel and Florence [O'] Sullivan held townlands in the parish of Kilcatherine, barony of Bear, at the same time. Denis O'Sullivan and other O'Sullivan family members held land in the parish of Inchigeelagh, barony of West Muskerry. Over 250 acres, formerly the property of John O'Sullivan, deceased, was advertised for sale in the Landed Estates Court in March 1872. It was held by lease from the Earl of Bantry's estate and located at Rosmacowen, barony of Bere.
