Pim (Co Cork) At the time of Griffith's Valuation Joseph Wakefield Pim held land in the parish of Clonfert, barony of Duhallow, county Cork, from the Aldworth family. In 1870 the sale of Myrtle Grove belonging to Joseph W. Pim was advertised. The rental traces the history of the ownership of this building and its purchase by Pim in 1848. It describes the interior of the house and its gardens. It was held on a lease for 1,000 years from Sir Lawrence Parsons of Birr to Sir William Hedges, dated 1661.The Irish Times reported that the property was sold to James Barry for £1000.
