O'Brien (Aghada)

In the mid 19th century Henry O'Brien held an estate in the parishes of Aghada and Corkbeg, barony of Imokilly, county Cork. In the 1870s the representatives of Henry O'Brien of Queenstown owned 505 acres in county Cork. In 1837 Lewis records H.H. O'Brien as resident at Whitepoint House, parish of Clonmel. An estate in the barony of Decies-without-Drum, county Waterford, the property of Denis O'Brien, an insolvent, was offered for sale in the Encumbered Estates Court in May 1855. The assignees were Henry O'Brien and Henry Dennehy.
