Name Description
Popham (Bandon) Bennett identifieds the Popham family as among the Puriatan settlers in Bandon in the 1620s. Benjamin Popham and other members of the family held property in and around Bandon at the time of Griffith's Valuation. A Miss Popham, with an address at Queenstown, was the owner of over 160 acres in county Cork in the 1870s. John Popham and others held land in the parish of St Nicholas, barony of East Muskerry, in the mid 19th century.
