Name Description
Pyne (Ballynacarriga) Cornelius Pyne, a relative of Henry Pyne of Waterpark, MP for Lismore, came to Ireland at the beginning of the 18th century and studied at Trinity College, Dublin. He was ordained priest in 1716 and appointed vicar of Kilworth , county Cork in 1719. He married Margaret, a niece of John Markham of Ballinacarriga, and they had a son John Pyne of Ballinacarriga. John's eldest son Cornelius was a doctor in Clonmel and married Mary Boate of Duckspool, Dungarven, county Waterford. Their son John George Pyne sold Ballinacarriga in the Encumbered Estates' Court in May 1851. It was purchased by the Corban Lucases. At the same time town parks close to the town of Dungarvan, county Waterford were also advertised for sale. This property was purchased by Henry Bagge.
