At the time of Griffith's Valuation Henry Good held land in the parish of Cannaway, John Good held land in the parish of Magourney and William Good held land in the parish of Kilbonane, all parishes in the barony of East Muskerry, county Cork, while James Good held land in the parishes of Kilmichael and Kilmurry, barony of West Muskerry. Edward Good was among the principal lessors in the parish of Fanlobbus, barony of East Carbery. In the 1870s John Good of Carhoo, Coachford owned 189 acres, Richard Good junior of Aherla owned 225 acres, Mr Goode of Silverville, Bandon owned 618 acres andf Edward H. Goode of Ballineen owned 620 acres in county Cork.
