Notter | Richard Henry Notter, of Skull, owned almost 600 acres in county Cork in the 1870s while James Lane Notter owned over 700 acres at the same time. Margaret and Richard Notter were among the principal lessors in the parish of Skull at the time of Griffith's Valuation. In May 1858, over 1500 acres in the barony of West Carbury as well as property in Cork City, owned by James and Margaret Notter, was advertised for sale in the Encumbered Estates Court. |
