Henry Baylee of Loughgur, county Limerick, was a nephew of Sexten Baylee, Mayor of Limerick in 1758. At the time of Griffith's Valuation Henry Thomas Baylee held five townlands in the parish of Clonlea, barony of Tulla Lower, county Clare. Weir writes that he was married to Susannah Bentley of Hurdleston. In 1872 Charles William Baylee of Mount Baylee married Margaret Jane Amelia Cooper and they had one daughter. In the 1870s Susannah Baylee of Templeogue, Dublin, owned 910 acres in county Clare. Charles Sexten Baylee of Mount Bailey, county Tipperary, owned 8 acres in county Limerick in the 1870s. 64 acres of his estate at Ballynantybeg, north suburbs of Limerick city, were advertised for sale in May 1862. He held this property on a lease dated 1858 from the Marquess of Lansdowne.
