Sealy

In the 1870s Deborah Sealy of Tralee held less than 100 acres in county Kerry. The Sealys had held larger estates early in the nineteenth century. In May 1851, the estate of William S. Sealy of Magh, was offered for sale in the Encumbered Estates Court, including Magh House.
Bary mentions that William E. Young was married to Agnes Sealy and lived at Ballinvariscal House in Novahal parish. In 1863, lands in the barony of Iraghticonnor, the property of John Sealy, were offered for sale in the Landed Estates Court. These were orginally held by the Raymond family.
