| Dunne (Leitrim) | In 1869 John Dunne, MD, offered for sale lands at Kiltoghert, barony of Leitrim on behalf of Emily Dunne. The Irish Times reports that this property was sold to L. Lawder, in trust for Mr. McKinstry. At the time of Griffith's Valuation, Emily Dunne and John Gumley were lessors of lands in the parish of Kitoghert. This appears to have been Church lands. In the 1870s John Dunne, MD, with an address at St. Leonard's-on'Sea, England, owned 37 acres in county Leitrim. |
