Name Description
Sherlock The Mount Irvine estate (which sometimes appears in sources as Mount Irwin) was part of the Cooper estate but was let on a long leases to a number of tenants including the Thompson and Sherlock families. In 1853, the estate of William and Catherine Sherlock was offered for sale in the Encumbered Estates Court. The petitioners were Eleanor and Honoria Irwin. The Freeman's Journal reported that it was bought in trust by a Mr.Crawford, for over £3000. In 1873 John Sherlock, trustee, was offering for sale a Fee Farm rent of the estate of Anna O'Brien at Leaffony, barony of Tireragh, county Sligo.
