At the time of Griffith's Valuation George Riddick held lands in the parish of Killukin, barony and county of Roscommon. In the 1870s Alicia Riddick of Drogheda and John Riddick of Mount Tallant, county Dublin, held 257 and 153 acres respectively in county Roscommon. Parts of the Riddick estate were sold in the 1870s. The sale rental of November 1874 refers to the original lease of Cloonsreane from William Connolly of the city of Dublin to Nicholas Mahon and to the division of the Brabazon estate in 1863.
