O'Conor (Mount Druid) Denis O'Conor was one of the principlal lessors in the parish of Kilcorkey, barony of Castlereagh at the time of Griffith's Valuation. He also held land in the parish of Shankill, barony of Roscommon. Mrs Margaret O'Conor, Mount Druid, Castlereagh, county Roscommon, had 6817 acres in county Mayo in the 1870s while her son Charles O'Conor of Mount Druid held over 2000 acres in county Roscommon at the same time. Her brother in law Arthur O'Conor of The Palace, Elphin, held land in the parishes of Elphin and Shankill, barony and county of Roscommon in the mid 19th century. At the time of Griffith's Valuation, Arthur O'Conor was one of the principal lessors in the parish of Kilronan, barony of Boyle, parish of Kilcolagh, barony of Frenchpark and the parish of Kiltullagh, barony of Castlereagh. In the 1870s Arthur O'Conor's estate amounted to 6,927 acres.
