Lowe | Nathaniel Lowe was a member of a Cromwellian family who had settled in county Westmeath. O'Gorman states that he was the owner of the estate at Cloonbiggin, later Lowville, by 1768. In 1783 Taylor and Skinner record Lowville as a seat of the Lowe family. In the early nineteenth century the Lowville estate was occupied by George Drought Warburton and later his son Bartholomew. |
