Lands at Lisduane and houses in Eyrecourt, the property of Patrick Mark and John Skerrett, was offered for sale in the Landed Estates court, July 1868. The sale notice indicates that this estate was on lease forever from the Eyre estate under a lease agreement dated 1788 between Giles Eyre and Patrick Skerrett.
In the 1870s Patrick Skerrett of Galway owned over 200 acres in the county while Emma Skerrett, with an address at Rafarn, Loughrea, owned over 140 acres.
