O'Farrell/Farrell (Dalystown Demesne) In the 1830s Dalystown House is described as the home of Dr. O'Ferrall. At the time of Griffith's Valuation, Dalystown was occupied by Charles Farrell. In March 1885 lands belonging to Charles O'Farrell in the barony of Leitrim, county Galway were offered for sale in the Land Judges court. This included Streamstown and Ballindrimina. In the 1870s Charles O'Farrell was the owner of over 5000 acres in county Galway. In 1906 Charles O'Farrell held over 500 acres of untenanted demesne and a mansion house at Dalystown.
