Graydon (Cos Galway & Mayo) At the time of the first Ordnance Survey, Lecarrow, containing 515 acres, in the parish of Annagh, barony of Costello, county Mayo, belonged to William Graydon, a lawyer based in Dublin. William Graydon also owned a county Galway estate comprised of 1007 acres in the barony of Clare. Thomas Graydon of Ballinasloe was the agent. In 1852 the Graydon estates in counties Mayo, Galway, Kildare and Dublin were advertised for sale in the Encumbered Estates' Court, George Graydon was recorded as owner. Austin O'Malley bought 413 acres in the parish of Cargin and Thomas Wallace bought Lecarrow.
O'Malley (Ballynalacka) Austin O'Malley bought 413 acres in the parish of Cargin, barony of Clare, county Galway, from the sale of the Graydon estate in 1852. The sale rental of the Graydon estate states that a shooting lodge had recently been erected at Ballynalacka. In the 1870s Austin O'Malley owned 413 acres in county Galway.
