Prendergast (Ballygowan)
The Prendergasts had a small estate in the parish of Kilcolman, barony of Clanmorris, county Mayo and property in the town of Tuam, county Galway. Richard Cuffe Prendergast was selling his property in 1878 and 1883. In June 1883 the Irish Times reported that Mr. St. George, the owner's solicitor, was the purchaser.
