Walsh (Kilmacowen)
This branch of the Walshs were descended from the Walshes of Carrickmines, near Dublin. An Edward Walsh married into the Irwin family of Tanrego (Dromard Parish). His son leased land from the Nicholson family and also from the Earl of Erne's estate and eventually became the leading Catholic landowner in the area.
