St. Leger (Co Mayo)
At the time of the first Ordnance Survey Bartholomew St Leger held a small estate in the parish of Kilcommon, barony of Kilmaine, county Mayo. The St Leger estate of 303 acres was sold by John Jameson, the assignee of Bartholomew St Leger, deceased, to Dominick W.Kearns in 1851. The Freeman's Journal reported that he paid over £1250 for the estate.
