Tynte
In 1667 Henry Tynte was granted lands in counties Limerick and Cork. The Tynte family's estate was near Dunlavin, county Wicklow but they also held land in counties Cork and Kilkenny as well as in Leitrim. In the late 1850s Joseph Tynte was leasing property near Tullaghan, county Leitrim from the White estate but he in turn was leasing lands to the Montgomery estate. In the mid 19th century Joseph Pratt Tynte held land in the parish of Youghal, barony of Imokilly, county Cork. In the 1870s he was the owner of over 1200 acres in county Cork, 2532 acres in county Wicklow, 150 acres in county Kilkenny and 30 acres in county Leitrim.
