O'Brien (Longford)
In the 1870s Robert O’Brien and Mrs. Margaret O’Brien of “Goothill”, Mohill and H. Dundas, of Lismoy, Newtownforbes, County Longford were the owners of over 1000 acres in the county. At the time of Griffiths Valuation, in the early 1850s, the representatives of Robert P.O’Brien were among the lessors in the parish of Killoe, barony of Longford.
