Fitzgerald (Glenown)
At the time of Griffith’s Valuation Richard Fitzgerald held the 184 acres of the townland of Clonown, parish of Conry, county Westmeath, in fee. He died in 1859 at Glenown and letters of administration were issued to his son James Fitzgerald. Captain James Fitzgerald of Clonown owned 184 acres in the county in the mid-1870s.
