Helsham
In November 1854 the lands of Ardbuckan and Kiltober, over 200 acres in county Westmeath lands and properties in Dublin, were advertised for sale in the Encumbered Estates Court by Francis Pierpoint Burton and Francis St Leger Burton. The petitioners were George Paul Helsham and his wife Anne otherwise Burton, otherwise Dumbleton. George Helsham was the occupier of these two townlands at the time of Griffith’s Valuation (publ. 1854). The same lands and premises were for sale again on 1 May 1857, this time in the name of George Paul Helsham of the city of Kilkenny, son of the Rev Paul Helsham.
