Fallon (Fore)
James Fallon was an immediate lessor in the parishes of Lickbla and Rathconrath, barony of Fore, county Westmeath, at the time of Griffith’s Valuation (publ. 1854). In the mid-1870s James Fallon of Oldtown, Ballynacargy owned 250 acres, while John and Patrick Fallon, both with Dublin addresses, owned 341 and 396 acres in county Westmeath. The Bannons were selling Oldtown in 1851.
