Cooke (Ballyneal)
In the 1870s Hussey de Burgh noted John Cooke, of Ballyneale, County Kilkenny, as the owner of over 700 acres in County Longford. At the time of Griffiths Valuation in the 1850s he was among the principal lessors in the parish of Ballymacormick, in the barony of Moydow.
