Reynolds (Longford)
In the 1870s Laurence Reynolds was recorded as the owner of over 900 acres in County Longford. At the time of Griffiths Valuation in the 1860s, he was among the principal lessors in the parish of Ardagh, barony of Moydow. He appears to have been in association with Reverend William Bradshaw and Edward Courtney at that time. Christopher Reynolds was among the lessors in the parish of Killoe, barony of Longford at the same time. In 1884 Christopher Reynolds was petitioning for the sale of over 400 acres at Ballygarve in the parish of Killoe, barony of Longford, then in the hands of George Little. The tenure notes recite the various parties to the original 1744 lease, which included members of the Wybrants family.
