Edgeworth (Kilshruly)
Burke states that the Edgeworth family of Kilshrewly ( or Kilshruly) is descended from Robert Edgeworth, grandson of Sir John Edgeworth of Cranallagh Castle and High Sheriff of Longford in 1646. In the 1850s, at the time of Griffiths Valuation, T.N. Edgeworth was among the principal lessors in the parish of Clonbrony, barony of Granard. Hussey de Burgh recorded Reverend John E. Edgeworth as the owner of over 1500 acres in County Longford in the 1870s.
