Conroy (Longford)
The representatives of Thomas Conroy were the owners of over 1200 acres in County Longford in the 1870s. They appear to have acquired the Mount Jessop estate, barony of Moydow. This had been offered for sale by members of the Jessop family in 1850. Members of the Conroy family were among the principal lessors in the parish of Moydow at the time of Griffiths Valuation in the early 1850s.
