McGlead/McGlade(Donegal)
Francis 'McGlead' with an address in Belfast was recorded as the owner of over 11,000 acres in County Donegal in the 1870s. Local sources note him among those who contributed to the cost of a new bell and belfry for the Roman Catholic church in Kilcar in 1882. It is possible this is the same Frank McGlade whose family had an extensive business in the wine and spirit trade in Belfast.
