Dillon-Byrne (Donegal)
In the 1870s Mrs. Mary Byrne and Miss Frances Dillon, with an address at Blackrock, Dublin, were recorded as the owners of over 3000 acres in County Donegal. They were the daughters of John Hawkins Dillon who had leased small amounts of property from the Earl of Arran's estate in the civil parish of Donegal at the time of Griffiths Valuation.
