Wright (Larah)
From at least the time of the compiling of the tithe applotment books the Wrights [of Dublin] held the townland of Greaghagibney, 524 acres in the parish of Larah, county Cavan. Miss Wright was the immediate lessor at the time of Griffith’s Valuation and in 1876 she owned 510 acres in the county. She may have been related to a Mrs Lee who held 147 acres in Tullyunshin, parish of Larah, in the 1850s-1870s.
