Murray (Bonnyglen)

The Bonnyglen estate was owned by the Murray family until the death, without heirs, of Alexander Murray in the 1840s. Ownership then passed to the Murray Stewart family in Scotland. The Babington family were associated with the Inver area since the end of the eighteenth century. In 1825 Murray Babington was recorded as maintaining property in the area in the Tithe Applotment records.
